The GT-One is one of my favorite Le Mans cars of the last couple decades. This car was homologated by convincing race officials that the fuel tank would qualify as "suitcase storage".

Toyota Sports 800. I wish they'd shown this next to a modern car so it would be apparent how tiny it is. In full production trim these only weigh about 1,250lbs and I'm sure these racing versions are lighter still.
